Diet.

We strongly suggest Eukanuba or Natural choice. (They do wonders for skin, coat and health) we have tried many brands and have always come back.

Bad Things.

Cooked chicken bones (any bird bone is dangerous)

Chocolate

Spoiled meat is just as bad for them as it is for you.

DO NOT get your dog drunk or high, no matter how amusing you may think this is, it is WRONG! Not to mention illegal. 

Obedience Training.

ABSOLUTELY anyone that feels that this is a waste of time is just crazy even if you have taught dogs in the past this is one of those things that you never stop learning about.

Even those “petsmart” classes are great (not to mention cheap or even free) even if you don’t learn much they do wonders for socializing your dog. 

Crate Training.

We insist on CRATE training. It’s a must no matter what you may think; not doing this is definitely a mistake. Just a couple reasons: so your having a party drinking, loud music lots of strangers well just say: crate (or whatever your command is) presto no worry about puppy getting a little nippy.

Give them treats when they are in their crate for no reason (this encourages them to get in without command)

Don’t leave water in crate they may spill it. It also makes it hard for them to “hold it”.

NEVER use crate as punishment this is their safe place (they don’t understand being grounded like you or I do) this will only cause them to dislike their crate.

It also helps in potty training just make sure that when they are young they can’t hold it they need to go out. Some dogs may take up to a year or more until they can hold it over night

Outdoor toys.

We give our dogs a Kiddy pool this will help them stay cool in the summer heat and in my case it keeps them from destroying my fish pond! (Well it helps) don’t get the biggest one as its kind of heavy to dump out so you can change the water.

Spring polls are also great. They will keep them entertained (after you show them that it is fun) for hours by them selves.

NOTE it is FL LAW that all puppies sold from or within the state of FL come with an up to date Health Cert. are over the age of 8 weeks and have rabbies vaccination if over 3months. please beware of breeders that are not abiding by these laws
